About Reinan Law

Reinan Law is a small trial firm in Denver that takes on hard cases against nursing homes, treatment facilities, hospitals, and medical providers and institutions who make false accusations of abuse. We're not built for volume. We take fewer cases, so we can prepare each one carefully and, when it's called for, take it to a jury. That approach comes straight from our founder, Jay Reinan, who spent his early career on the other side, defending these institutions, before he decided to represent the people they harm.

How We Work

Most firms settle, and many avoid the courtroom entirely, because trials are hard and uncertain. We think that costs clients, because the other side keeps track of which lawyers will actually try a case and which won’t. So we prepare every case as if it’s going to trial, we tell you the truth about what we see, and we turn down cases that aren’t a fit rather than sign everyone who calls. When we take your case, you work with the people whose names are on the door.

Our Team

A small team, by design. You won't be handed off to someone you've never met.

JEROME (JAY) Reinan, Attorney

Jay has tried more than 50 civil jury trials. He spent his first seven years defending nursing homes, hospitals, and mental health providers, then switched sides in 1999 to represent the people these institutions harm. He wrote the nursing home abuse and neglect chapter for the Colorado Elder Law Bar and teaches trial skills to other attorneys.

Jordana Griff Gingrass, Attorney

Jordana has represented disabled and elderly clients and their families since 2006, in cases against nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and mental health providers. A Colorado native, she was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and among Colorado's top attorneys under 40.

Briana Diefenbach, Paralegal

Briana is often the first person you'll talk to. She brings years of legal experience to keeping each case moving, answers questions at any stage, and works to make your experience with the firm as smooth and comfortable as it can be.

Sara Finnegan-Doyon, Legal Assistant

Sara gathers the medical and billing records that support your case and keeps that part of the process organized, so you can focus on your family. Her work reflects the team's commitment to the dignity of every client it serves.
